Privacy Policy — local-first invoice tool, no tracking

Short version: this app does not collect anything. There is no backend server, no signup by email, and we never see your data.

Where your data lives

• Invoices, clients, catalog, settings and statements are stored in your browser's localStorage on your own device. They never leave it. Clearing the site's data in your browser deletes them — that is why the Settings page offers a JSON backup file you can keep anywhere.
• Because storage is per-device and per-browser, documents created on one device do not appear on another.

Device accounts

If you create one of the optional on-device accounts, only your chosen display name and a salted SHA-256 hash of your password are kept in localStorage. The password itself is never stored or transmitted. This lock separates users on a shared computer; it is not encryption of your data.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

• The app itself sets no cookies and runs no analytics or fingerprinting scripts.
• If this site displays Google AdSense advertisements in the future, Google will use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve, track and serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising at Google's Ads Settings (or opt out via aboutads.info/choices).
• Any future analytics would be disclosed here first.

Children

This is a business billing utility, not directed at children, and knowingly collects nothing from anyone.
